On the subject of Sunrise fibre and the FRITZ!Box5530 XGS PON: Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I have a Sunrise fibre connection (10 Gb XGS-PON) in conjunction with the huge Sunrise fibre box, which has been a thorn in my side for a long time. I got the right fibre optic cable for the FRITZ!Box 5530 XGS-PON (this one: https://www.kabelhuus.ch/pi/Glasfaserkabel/SC-UPC-LC-APC/10m3/glasfaserkabel-lc-apc-sc-upc-stecker-simplex.html) and had the MAC address stored with Sunrise and unfortunately the FB does not connect to the Internet. I tried several times and reset the FB several times and disconnected and reconnected all cables but nothing: No connection to the Internet. Since Sunrise support unfortunately does nothing more for third-party routers than to store the MAC address (which, according to their statement, should actually be enough), I am really at my wits' end. Does anyone have any ideas or settings that I need to make? I would be really grateful for any further help, as it should actually work.
