Question regarding the Seagate IronWolf Pro 16TB in combination with the Synology RS820+: Synology states that the 16TB HDD is compatible with the following P/N number: "ST16000NE000 - 2RW103". The P/N number depends on the production of the HDD. Therefore, two identical models may have a different P/N and different firmware, e.g. "ST16000NE000 - 2WX103" instead of "ST16000NE000 - 2RW103". This is important because the health management of the Seagate IronWolf hard drives only works with the officially Synology compatible model "ST16000NE000 - 2RW103". Now my question: Does Digitec deliver the corresponding "correct" model?

In my case it is Seagate Iron Wolf Pro NAS with the designation: ST16000N E000-2RW103 SCSI Disk Device.
