Question about ASUS GeForce ROG STRIX RTX 4090 OC Edition
Sometimes this is supposed to be one of the worst cards in terms of coil whine. But here I read mostly positive reviews, sometimes with the comment "quiet". Do most people here not care?

Well, in normal use I don't have any beeping at all.
Neither when gaming nor in normal office use.
I've only noticed it once so far in 3DMark and only in a certain benchmark.
Hi GarfieldKlon. The card itself is top in terms of performance and efficiency - which is why the positive reviews are absolutely justified. The term "quiet" refers more to the ventilation, which is indeed very quiet. However, loud coil whining is a fact. Mine also "beeps" quite loudly under maximum power. Unfortunately, this is not a new "problem" and somehow we have simply (unfortunately) become accustomed to it in recent years (or rather +- since the GTX 1000 series). You also don't have much of a choice, as the manufacturer's warranty doesn't cover this. Therefore my recommendation -> Buy a good headset with a high-end graphics card ;-)
