The answer is still open...! Does the screen protector work for the Sony RX100VI as well as for the brand new RX100VII...? Of course the LCD size is correct, but I don't know if the focus on a certain point still works with the touchscreen...!

It remains the same touch display technology on the RX100Vii, so there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

The display reacts to voltage differences. So when you place your finger on the display, your electrical charge is transferred to that of the display. This is how the display recognises where you press.

No, the screen protector does not work with the RX100 vii. The edges are not right. The most you can do is stick it on your head, otherwise it covers parts of the menu.
