The description says that the width of the strap is 24mm. Can I assume that this is the maximum size that is supported and that the narrower straps such as 12mm and 18mm can also be used?

Yes exactly, I have tried with 8, 12, 18 and 24 km so far and it has always worked without any problems.

Hello Swiss_fabi, your assumption is absolutely correct. Anything from 3.5mm to 24mm can be used here.
