The loud fan is mentioned several times in the comments... is there any information on how loud this beamer is in dB? Is it actually louder than other comparable devices? Is there an ECO mode with a lower noise level?

In normal mode, the fan is rather quieter than on my previous BenQ model. In ECO mode, it is practically imperceptible.

Have 2 of them, one with approx. 1.5 m. The fan has never bothered me with either of them.
