## Connections
- WAN port: This port must be connected to your internet provider to establish the internet connection. The WAN port of the TUF Gaming AX3000 V2 supports speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps.
- Ethernet ports: There are four Ethernet ports with 1 Gbps speed, two of which also support link aggregation to reach up to 2 Gbps speed.
- USB port: One USB 3.2 Gen 1 port is available, which can be used for various applications such as connecting external storage devices or printers.
- Power connection: A power port for supplying power to the router.

## WLAN function
The ASUS TUF Gaming AX3000 V2 is a stand-alone Wi-Fi 6 router and not an amplifier for an existing WLAN. It creates its own Wi-Fi network and offers both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bandwidths.

If you want to cover an entire home or a larger area, the router can also be combined with the ASUS AiMesh system to create mesh-based whole-home coverage.
