What does (DE version) mean? can the unit be used in Switzerland with the cables supplied or do I need additional adapters for it.

The base station is equipped with a 2-pole power cable for the power supply and is compatible with Swiss sockets. The telephone cable, on the other hand, must be provided with the appropriate plugs; on the device side this is an RJ11.
