What is the difference between Cat 6 and Cat 6a?

The specified bandwidth for data transmission.
Cat6 -> 250MHz
Cat6a -> 500MHz

As a result, Cat6 guarantees 10Gbit/s transfer rates up to 55m and Cat6a up to 100m.
Cat6 can therefore be used for short lines without any problems.

For 2m cables it does not matter whether 6 or 6a is used.
