I have a Xiaomi Pad 5 in there. But if the back is important, I can't recommend the stand. At least I got wear and tear on the tablet.

Up to 10 mm is certainly okay, but with more thickness it becomes increasingly unstable. I would consider 12 mm to be the maximum.
