Question about Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2
When I order the mainboard together with the AMD Ryzer 5 5500, how exactly can I update it to the latest version of the bios so that it runs with the 5 CPU? I've been out of the PC business for too long.
Ist vermutlich nicht mal nötig. Es hat aber einen extra Anschluss dafür. Den Q-flash usb Eingang. Siehe folgenden Auszug aus dem manual:
Q-Flash Plus Button (Note 3)
Q-Flash Plus allows you to update the BIOS when your system is off (S5 shutdown state). Save the latest
BIOS on a USB thumb drive and plug it into the Q-Flash Plus port, and then you can now flash the BIOS
automatically by simply pressing the Q-Flash Plus button. The QFLED will flash when the BIOS matching
and flashing activities start and will stop flashing when the main BIOS flashing is complete.

Not 100% sure if it's always like this but I bought the board 2x with a 5600x... and it ran with the 5600x out of the box.
