To connect the DVD player, you will need an HDMI cable. This cable connects the player to your TV and enables the transmission of picture and sound. Optionally, you can also use a coaxial digital cable if your TV or an external sound system has a corresponding connection. A USB cable is not required unless you want to play files from a USB device.
