In addition to the usual heart rate and SpO2 sensors, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro (approx. 300 euros on Amazon) also has an integrated electrocardiogram (ECG), which has not been available in Europe until now. Huawei has now announced in a press release that this will soon change, because the ECG of the smartwatch has finally received CE certification.

This means that the feature may be activated in 33 European countries, including Germany and Austria. Huawei has not yet given an exact timetable for when the rollout of the corresponding update will be completed, but the first users in Europe are said to have already received access to the ECG app.
