The product text here is not optimal. The Brother website clarifies:
- 'The built-in lithium-ion battery with USB port for recharging ensures that the printer is always ready for use, wherever you are.
- Built-in lithium-ion battery - no alkaline batteries required.
- Can be charged from any available USB port or USB charger.

Is a Micro USB port. The corresponding cable is included in the scope of delivery.
