Question about Philips 49B2U5900CH

With the 5K 60Hz basic setting, the open windows on the monitor have multiple slight (1-2 cm wide) shadow frames. These unsightly window shadows disappear with the monitor USB setting 'High Resolution' and 75Hz. I am amazed that the manual on page 42 lists 60Hz as the recommended setting.
