The round teat encourages a similar tongue position and sucking technique when breastfeeding, as the sides of the tongue can be lifted and placed around the teat due to the round shape, just like when breastfeeding. The teat is equipped with a valve that releases air as soon as the baby encloses the teat in its mouth. This flattens the teat and allows it to mould naturally to the baby's mouth.

This minimises contact with the baby's nose and the skin around the mouth. This allows less moisture to accumulate from saliva, which can lead to rashes and sores, and the shield is available in one size, regardless of the size of the teat. The shield is made of 100 % food-safe PP. The soother glows in the dark. The glow effect lasts for approximately 8+ hours. It can be activated by holding the soother close to a light source for 5-10 seconds.
