Monika Neubacher-Fesser, born in 1959, lives in Hanover. She studied graphic design at the Art Academy in Kassel. After that, she had a brief stint in advertising. With the birth of her two now-adult children, she began her work as a freelance illustrator and author. Since then, she has created a variety of board books, craft books, and books in the children's activity sector.

Sandra Grimm was born in 1974 in Northern Germany. After school, she spent a year in France. She then settled in various German cities to become a qualified educator and work in a children's book publishing house. She is now back in the north, where she works in her office in the attic. The rural life surrounds her with cute animals, quirky neighbors, charming families, various vehicles, curious acquaintances, and lively sons. This provides her with countless inspirations for new stories and rhymes. She has already published over two hundred small and large books, which are crammed onto the shelves in her attic. Another shelf is already waiting for new adventures for curious readers.
