Author's Note
Alexandra Maxeiner, born in 1971, studied theater studies, film studies, and ethnology in Paris and Mainz. She worked as a copywriter in various agencies and as an editor at Hessischer Rundfunk. Since 2002, she has been working as a freelance author, writing scripts for children's television, radio comedies, cabaret programs, and plays. She is part of the Frankfurt Ateliergemeinschaft labor and lives in Frankfurt am Main.

Anke Kuhl, born in 1970, studied drawing in Mainz and Offenbach and works in the Frankfurt Ateliergemeinschaft labor. She has received several awards, including the Troisdorf Picture Book Scholarship and the Eulenspiegel Picture Book Prize. For Klett Kinderbuch, she has illustrated "Lola rast" and "Sirenensang und Schweinezauber." Anke Kuhl lives with her husband and two children in Frankfurt am Main.
