In the underwater castle, there is great excitement: In a few days, there will be a birthday party for the ancient crab Gustav Krabbenkeks. Mr. Krabbenkeks is turning 300 years old. But then suddenly there’s a cancellation - Mr. Krabbenkeks doesn’t want to attend his own birthday party. While his mermaid sisters continue with the preparations for the big celebration, the mermaid Nella Nixe rushes to Mr. Krabbenkeks. Because if anyone can persuade the old gentleman, it’s the lively Nella. Will she succeed? And if so, what should she give the old crab for his birthday? As the only one of the five mermaids, she hasn’t prepared anything yet. But Nella wouldn’t be Nella if she didn’t already have a good idea for that too.
