The hanging scale has a measuring range of 0 to 1000 kg. With an accuracy of 1% of the measured value, the hanging scale is a particularly precise measuring instrument. The housing is made of robust metal, allowing the scale to be used in harsh environments. Operation is done from the side via the control panel, which allows for adjustments such as setting the unit or resetting the zero point. With a digit height of 41 mm and adjustable background lighting, the hanging scale is easily readable from a distance and in dark environments. A remote control is included for operation from a greater distance. The remote control allows for additional settings such as background lighting, summation function, or automatic shut-off. The summation function enables the cumulative display of weights attached sequentially. In addition to the units kg and lb, a user-specific unit can be set by entering a multiplier based on the measured kg value. The energy-saving electronics allow for continuous measurement for about 45 hours. Optionally, the hanging scale can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.
