I’m typing on an old typewriter; my Princess Standard 300 from the sixties. I deprive myself of escape. No adding, no changing, no forward and backward. No shame, no doubts.

I am a thriller author, non-fiction writer, and podcaster. Am I seriously considering publishing a collection of poems? To lay my heart so obviously on the operating table for a public dissection? On the other hand: Didn’t I vow to let my heart guide me rather than my doubts? To always give love a little more space than fear? It was clear that this applied to my writing. But shouldn’t it also apply to my life?
