Birds of prey and owls are becoming increasingly rare, and only a few have had the chance to observe a young one. Young cameraman and photographer Tobias Lohf has been working with the Berlebeck Eagle Observatory for several years, capturing the fascinating development of these animals with his camera.

He is particularly fascinated by the large bird of prey species, as they change their appearance multiple times in a very short period, transforming from a small, fluffy chick into the king of the skies. At the eagle observatory, he gets closer to the animals than is possible in the wild, allowing him to showcase their growth in unusually detailed shots like never seen before.
