Lenovo Smart Clock
Lenovo Smart Clock
In the event of a power failure or restart, everything is saved. So don't worry. I have one myself and have already disconnected it from the power supply several times. Everything was as usual.
When setting the alarm time, you can determine how long the alarm will run, from 1 to 60 minutes. Of course, you can switch off the alarm yourself at any time.
Do you have the exact name of the old model? Or a link please? So that we can give you the best information.
Hi, I think it's worth it even without a smart home. I have Smart Home devices at home but rarely use them through the Lenovo Alarm Clock. Since everything works with the Google Home app, it also works fine with iPhones, I use an iPhone myself and have no problems. The only thing is that if you don't use Google products, features like calendar integration don't work.
Maybe you can see the difference between them when you compare them with the compare-function
Hello, you can only use predefined sounds as an alarm clock, i.e. neither radio nor Spotify playlist.
Hi, this smart watch cannot be used as a radio alarm.
At first I thought I was annoyed that "Create a radio alarm clock with Radio Argovia" was ignored just as skilfully as the procedures, which I only found with difficulty at all in the Home > Assistant settings thanks to the search. After a little research, however, I reached my goal: in the Google Home app (which was/is also used to set up the Smart Clock) in the Assistant settings, simply change the language from German (Switzerland) to German (Germany). That makes the difference. Now it dutifully carries out the "Good morning" procedure after the alarm clock has stopped ringing (e.g. announcing the weather, opening the SmartHome blinds and playing Radio Argovia), which it refused to do before, except for the weather. Also, the instruction mentioned at the beginning to create a radio alarm clock instead of a standard alarm clock with ringtone now works. So yes, it can also be a radio alarm clock - with a little help.
The product is unfortunately on sale and can therefore no longer be offered by us. :(
After the alarm tone
different alarms including days can be set. unfortunately, it is not possible to use Spotify as the sound, only a selection of approx. 8 different sounds is possible. Light can also be programmed, the display gradually becomes brighter when waking up.
The problems do not occur with me. But it could also be a compatibility problem between the clock and the router. Sometimes certain WiFi clients simply don't work well with the access points. If you have another router/access point, try it with that one. Or maybe update the firmware of the WiFi router. Greetings and good luck
No radio, just a choice of predefined alarms.
You can set it to wake up at a different time each day of the week. But it is designed to work with Google and for that you need to set it up via Google Home and a Wifi connection, I don't think it works without one.
I was able to connect the Smart Clock to my WLAN (UniFy AP) via the Google Home app without any problems. Before you throw it in the rubbish.... send it to me!
No. Only internal tones can be set to wake you up.
Is adjustable. From 1 - 10min in steps of 1 and from 10min to 60min in steps of 5. The snooze length is also adjustable.
Yes, with the Google Home integration it works perfectly.
No. There are various alarm tones on the alarm clock but none can be played or used from the mobile phone.
It is a connected alarm clock. It will use the language you choose with "OK Google" (Google home) You can connect it to Spotify or other google home compatible software. Good product with a soft and pleasant alarm clock.
Meinst du diese? :) Lenovo Smart Clock Essential
I plugged it in and used the google home app to install it. then set the alarm and don't forget the volume.
No, it does not have all the functions of the Nest. E.g. video telephony, or Nest video cameras cannot be played back. But it can play photos from Google Photos or make voice calls via Duo. Also voice commands like Google Home are almost all possible.
Enclosed you can see the differences a little better. :) https://www.digitec.ch/Comparison/11436411-13126936
no power, = no operation - switches off immediately when power is interrupted. when power is restored, all functions/settings are back on the unit.
