The only difference is that the version with the "BT" is equipped with Bluetooth. You can control the version with "BT" (if you don't have a Hue Bridge) via your smartphone. If you buy the version without the "BT" you have to buy a Hue Bridge to control it via your smartphone, because the communication works via Zigbee.
