Question about Philips Hue Bloom Basis BT
I have a light switch that switches the power on and off on the socket. Then you can switch a floor lamp on and off with the light switch. Does this also work with the HUE Bloom? Can I switch it on and off with the light switch?
yes, that is possible.
However, note the following points:
- If you switch off the Hue via the switch, it is no longer accessible via the app (and therefore no longer "smart").
- Settings via app are lost after three times on/off (short switching sequences) and Hue Bloom is back to factory settings, but still works (simply without specific settings...such as colour, dimming state etc.).
- If you switch off the Hue via the app, you have to press the switch several times (usually twice).
