You create a so-called "Entertainment" area in the Hue app with your smartphone (or tablet). This is usually a separate room within the Hue app, i.e. all the lamps you want to control must first be added to this room. Then you can move each individual lamp in the entertainment area so that the lamp to the right of the TV only reacts to colour changes in the right half of the TV.
