Important: Can the lamps in the set of 2 be controlled individually via Hue Sync? For example, beach scene: Left lamp lights up yellow (sand), right lamp lights up blue (sea). Or do both always light up in the same colour (both blue or both yellow)? Since both run on the same power supply, I'm afraid that all the lamps connected to it are effectively treated as one lamp and therefore all light up the same and you need a separate power supply for each lamp if you want to control them individually.

Yes, this should be possible, as they are controlled via the WLAN. Whether the power comes from 1 or 2 power supply units is irrelevant.
