With regard to water protection, the lamp is protected against "scalding water" with IP 54. For a bathroom lamp, at least protection class IP 67 should be selected in the area of the bathtub or shower.

For areas up to a height of 2.25 m around the shower spray and bathtub or shower tray, IP65 is the right degree of protection for your luminaires. This means they are protected against water jets.

Up to 60 cm around the bathtub or shower and on the wall up to 2.25 m, use luminaires with IP44 protection so that they are splash-proof.
