The Dennerle CO2 Flipper is a powerful, compact CO2 injection device with an integrated bubble counter function for aquariums up to 300 liters in volume. The Dennerle CO2 Flipper operates very efficiently. Despite its compact design, the long travel distance allows the CO2 bubbles ample time to dissolve. It is equipped with a CO2 collection tray and a false gas venting system. No motor drive is required.

How the Dennerle CO2 Flipper works:

The CO2 bubbles escape from the opening at the bottom of the Flipper and rise along the baffles. During this process, a portion of the CO2 already dissolves in the aquarium water. The remainder collects in the collection tray and then moves into the water. As the CO2 bubbles rise in the Flipper, other gases that are naturally dissolved in the aquarium water simultaneously penetrate the bubbles. These so-called false gases are significantly lighter than the relatively heavy CO2 and therefore accumulate in the collection tray at the top. They are regularly expelled through the specially designed false gas vent. The heavier CO2, on the other hand, remains at the bottom of the gas cushion, at the interface with the water.
