Pre-filter material made from ceramic hollow bodies for coarse dirt particles. Immediately upon entering the filter circuit, the water is swirled through the ceramic hollow bodies. This unique small shallow water filter is designed differently from aquarium internal filters: it does not hang but lies horizontally in the water. 10. Eheim Aquarium internal filter

The EHEIM Pickup is a small, practical filter with a unique concept. The filter can be easily attached to the tank using suction cups. The special feature of the Pickup's design is that the filter canister along with the cartridge can be removed from the top, while the pump unit remains in the tank. This is a very convenient solution for cleaning or replacing the filter cartridge. The pump draws water from the bottom and pushes it through the filter cartridge upwards. The filtered water is then directed back into the tank through the swivel outlet nozzle.
