Is the accuracy better than with the old ones? With the old one, it can take up to 10 minutes for it to report that the dog has left the virtual fence. Is gps data recorded even without reception? With my old one, it can happen that it runs through a forest and comes back into a village, and I can't see where it has run through on the position without reception, which is very bad. Even with the liveticker in zones with great reception, the old tractiv is up to 5 minutes late with displays. Is that better with the new ones?

My experience is that the new ones are much more accurate due to the battery saving mode, which works with your home WiFi. Basically when connected to WiFi you know the pet is at home, and it's also much more precise. I remember freaking out with the old ones because when the dog is inside, the gps is not precise.
I'm happy with the new ones. But I recommend the more expensive plan so you can get it replaced yearly. The quality is still quite bad in my opinion and they don't last long.
