Product details
A salt/pepper and spice mill made of beech wood, interpreted by Ettore Sottsass with his unmistakable poetic style of stacked colourful elements. This spice mill, with the aroma of freshly ground spices, can transform the simplest dishes into flavoursome meals. A small colourful sculpture that can be used at the table and displayed on open kitchen shelves. ETTORE SOTTSASS, born in Innsbruck in 1917, is internationally recognised as one of the initiators of the renewal of design and architecture, thanks to whom the rigid functionalism of the pre- and post-war years of the Second World War could be overcome. In the language of the great and influential master of Italian design, potential energy and vitality are expressed in design and colour, as a contrast to any kind of intellectualism and stiffness. Died in 2007.
