The newly updated Cerasafe® Triply frying pan is now 100% PFAS-free and plastic-free, ensuring healthy cooking. The HEIROL Cerasafe® Triply products feature a ceramic coating that is completely free from harmful PFAS chemicals for both humans and nature, starting from the manufacturing processes. The product is durable and therefore very popular among professionals.

It has a high-quality three-layer construction with excellent heat conductivity. The body and handle are made of stainless steel, and the riveted handles are robust enough for oven use (up to 200 °C). The product is suitable for all types of cooktops, including induction.

The Cerasafe® Triply series is an environmentally friendly cookware line: due to its excellent heat conductivity, it consumes very little energy, and the durable coating ensures that the product lasts a long time. The coating contains no PFAS chemicals.

An alternative to PTFE-based PFAS-containing coatings is the PFAS-free Sol-Gel coating, whose main components are inorganic and organic salts of silicon dioxide, sodium silicate, and methyltrimethoxysilane, as well as water.

Sol-Gel technology can produce environmentally friendly coatings on various materials at low temperatures while saving energy.

In January 2022, HEIROL became the first Finnish company to join the NO TO PFAS initiative of the environmental organization ChemSec. The initiative aims to gradually phase out and ban several harmful fluorinated (PFAS) compounds, referred to as "forever chemicals" because they do not break down in nature.
