The Xiaomi air purifier with HEPA filter is primarily intended for fine dust (soot, dust, pollen, etc). In a big city or during the pollen season, this is of course useful, but in your bathroom there probably won't be that much fine dust (unless you're just dumping new sand into the litter box). A filter with activated carbon could help against odours, but I'm not an expert. The purple filter has activated carbon in it: Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Filter Unfortunately, I don't know how much it helps against odours in practice. Some litter boxes also have an activated carbon filter directly in the lid. If yours has one, check whether it has not been changed for a long time (>1 year).

I have also been using the 3H for a few months. I am not satisfied with the automatic control. I have already cleaned the sensor a few times (with a hoover). You can't clean it much. I then only operate it manually. When I ventilate the window, I turn the thing up to maximum, but the noise of the fan doesn't allow me to work next to it :-( The circulation and cleaning at high level is very good. But I would also be happy if the thing had better control and you could influence how many particles it should turn up and how high. In other forums I have read about similar problems with the measurement.

Yes, there is! If you press the button on the display and the button on the back at the same time while the unit is switched off, a menu appears in which you cannot actually do anything. However, one of the displayed items can be changed. If the unit is then disconnected from the power and switched on, the filter shows 100% again. Unfortunately, I don't have a device in front of me to follow the procedure in more detail, but I have now done this several times with different 3h units and, even with exhibitors, always with success. However, you should be aware that deposits do not have to be visible and can still be very harmful. A replacement should therefore be carried out at least once a year and should only be considered if conditions are very good. The purchase of an air purifier always entails follow-up costs - you have to be aware of this when buying.

The Xiaomi Air Puifier all use the same filters, there are different color ones, this model has the Gray 3H HEPA filter, but the purple one would also work or the green or blue one. These filters are interchangeable and please do not throw a perfectly working filter away just because the Mi App is telling you that it needs to be replaced after approx 180 days. These filter interchange values are for Asian markets where there is so much air pollution that you should replace it quite often. In Switzerland, you can clean the filter outside with a vacuum cleaner and you can re-insert, reset the filter and re-use it for a year or even more. Fun fact, you can buy these filters at Galaxus but not with Digitec, although you can also buy the Mi Air Purifier with Galaxus too. https://www.galaxus.ch/search

All filters are HEPA Class 13 and therefore good for (or against) pollen or dust. The other filters contain additional filters for specific purposes. So the normal grey filter is sufficient. At least that is the conclusion I came to after "studying" the information and that is how I use it.

Hello Beat. No, unfortunately it is not Homekit-enabled. You need the Xiaomi app, in which you can make all the settings. But unfortunately only "standalone" and not controllable via homekit or Siri.

Hi, I don't work at Digitec, but I think it's caused by the cookies on the website. The more people look at a product, the faster it pushes up the price. It's the same with airline tickets. I have experienced it myself. So maybe: go incognito and surf the net like this ..... and help others to get hold of the product at a fair price. Have fun. Nadia

I think, depending on the filters you choose, bacteria, microbes, bacilli, viruses, etc., can be present. Aerosols are suspended air/water particles and nano-compounds that usually go to the bottom at some point, so I don't know if they make it to the filter.
