Are the 4.6 litres perfect for baking cakes? Would the 6.7 litre version be of any use at all, or is it perhaps even better to make the corresponding dough fresh individually with 4.7 for several cakes?

Helpful answer

I bought the machine for my 4-person household and the size is perfect!
4.6 litres was enough for all the cakes and bread doughs. I even need it for baking Christmas cookies and I am thrilled!

We also bought this machine with 4.6 litres for a 4-person household. We are extremely satisfied with the Megapack, each family member has basically jumped on a different attachment and made something with it.
Just to answer your question: The machine can process a maximum of 1 kg of flour, which is enough for relatively large loaves of bread or even cakes. We have never had the problem that one pass was not enough. However, as a dough would also be produced quickly, further dough / baking mix can be prepared in quick succession. In other words, we have not yet reached our limits in terms of quantity. What we have also not done is to use significantly more flour than is specified. If you are not a professional bakery and regularly produce large quantities, then a 4.6 litre model will certainly suffice. And remember, the machine will of course be 1/3 larger in volume... Compare the volume of the competition, they are all somewhere just under 5 litres. Conclusion: We are not ready to buy the machine. You will be surprised how big the package is when the machine (Megapack) arrives. I had a hard time stowing away all the accessories....
