As this wok is the only one among the cast iron woks listed as uncoated! (which is very unfortunate!). I can't answer my question from the pictures, video and text, so I'll try here. Is the wok rough inside? It looks very smooth to me. So rough that raw meat sticks to the inner wall? Normally this should be the case with cast iron. For me, this is a very important purchase criterion for a wok of this size.

Yes, the wok is rough, but I've never had any problems because I always cook with oil anyway. I think the old classic woks back then didn't have teflon on them either ;)

Yes the wall is rough and yes, raw meat (chicken) sticks.
