Hello cooks, As the specifications and answers are partly contrary, 2 questions are open: 1. is the pan enamelled? Galaxus and some users say no, Kuhn Rikon website says yes. 2. can/does one work with a stainless steel spatula (the one from Kuhn Rikon)? Thank you

Hello,

1. as far as I can tell, it is an enamelled cast iron pan: you can wash the wok with water+rinsing agent, there is no need to burn it in and burnt-in stains can be removed with baking powder+water. However, enamel is not non-stick. Marinated meat or rice sticks strongly. With enough oil, at not too high a temperature and for vegetables or pre-fried meat, it works well.

2. I don't think so. Hard objects could destroy the enamel layer. I would probably use plastic or wood.
