It is not quiet, but no louder than the other blenders we had before. But this one lasts much longer with daily use. I can recommend the appliance without reservation!

I would definitely never prepare something at 06:00 in the morning (I don't think with any other blender either).

Yes, I also find it rather loud. Of course, it depends on the speed, but it tends to be loud. Unfortunately, I don't have a comparison with other devices in a similar performance class, but I think many are more or less similarly loud. There are also mixers that are soundproof (e.g. google BMK2-1500). I don't know of any test report on this. I would welcome a volume test from Galaxus, with similar devices like this Bosch :-)
