I often read in the reviews that the machine leaks after one year. Has the problem been fixed in the new machines in the meantime? Has Krups recognised the problem?

Unfortunately not, after about 3 months ours was leaking and then in repair for about 3 weeks, unfortunately over Christmas. Then it was sent back to us repaired, unfortunately without a word as to what was broken.
My guess is that if a capsule is not inserted correctly by the machine, there is excess pressure and a water hose connection leaks.
At the moment it's running fine and makes very good coffee. I like the milk foamer, it's perfect for me.

Same here. Our machine has been leaking water for the second time in a few days. It still has a month's guarantee and is now going back in for repair. It's a shame, because the machine is actually really ingenious...

Unfortunately, no improvement in sight. We gave up after the 5th repair on 2 machines and bought another. None of the repairs came with a report, even though I asked for one! Krups is unfortunately dead for us, we don't buy there anymore.

My machine is also leaking for the second time, luckily I took the warranty extension.
