I would like to control 8 circuits with the Homematic IP floor heating actuator. I also need 8 actuators and 2-3 wall thermostats. Is that enough or do I also need the Homematic IP central controller? I think I only need it if I want to control the heating by mobile phone? Or what is the smartest solution? Thank you very much for your answer.

Helpful answer

Actually, this is sufficient; check whether the valve adapters supplied with the HmIP-VDMOT actuators fit your system. The central unit is required for advanced applications, e.g. mobile phone control.

I use the CCU3 (central unit) with the floor heating actuator HmIP-FALMOT-C12 and 10 actuators HmIP-VDMOT and various dimmers, switches and buttons.
