The machine can't knead tough bread dough and it starts to smoke. Not recommended. More suitable for liquids, vegetable chopping, omelette/pancake batter.

I've already tried it for cakes, but it's better to use a hand mixer. The machine is great for hummus, chopping vegetables, stock, etc.
