It is advertised here as Xiaomi, but "SmartMi" is written on the air purifier. I could not find any connection between this name and Xiaomi.

SmartMi is part of the Xiaomi ecosystem. The air purifier is manufactured by SmartMi but marketed through Xiaomi. Therefore, it says "SmartMi" on the device, although it is often offered as a Xiaomi product.
