Exactly - I also found out about the EU plug before I used it for the first time and that it did not fit into the CH socket. I bought another CH plug for Fr. 1.25 in the Jumbo and cut off the EU plug. . . . But the device is good and serves the purpose perfectly . . . . ; It's a pity that Digitec doesn't take better care and observe the CH standard. According to SRF EXPRESSO, an adapter is only an alternative - in my opinion, such devices should not be sold in Switzerland. . . .
