This unit has Vita Shield IPS technology, which helps filter even ultra-fine particles from the air. It eliminates bacteria and viruses and provides protection against harmful gases such as formaldehyde, toluene and TVOC. If these substances are present in the paint, they are filtered.

I have been using the unit for 2 weeks. The air quality has improved significantly since then. You also notice it when you were outside and come into the flat. Especially if you have pets, I can really recommend the device for allergy sufferers. The unit also cleans odours because it has a replaceable activated carbon filter. If the air is very dirty, the appliance automatically goes into turbo mode and only returns to normal mode when the air is really clean again. After cooking, the odours also disappear quite quickly. However, the flat still needs to be aired regularly. I have the large unit in the living room (AC3256/10) and a second smaller unit in the bedroom (AC2882/10). Unfortunately, I cannot judge whether the unit is capable of removing all the vapours from a freshly painted flat.
