What are the automation functions? Can you set the unit to e.g. 50% relative humidity and it automatically turns on and off to maintain the setpoint?

Yes, this is possible via WLAN with the Xiaomi APP. There, you can assemble the automation individually. I.e. the time or other device integration is possible. The air humidity can only be integrated in 10 steps, i.e. 30%, 40%, 50%, etc.
