The pan has a diameter of 12 cm at the bottom (contact surface) and 16 cm at the top.
This one is smaller, 16cm dia., and holds. .4 l whereas the 20cm one holds .8 l. I bought both of them, to replace larger pans after my husband died because I now have a one-person kitchen - I use them both all the time, love them. The little one is useful for melting butter, making small amounts of sauces, etc.
