The iron pot of the rice cooker is best not cleaned in the dishwasher.
Its surface is made of a layer of non-stick foil, and the lid on the hinged cover is not a problem with dishwashers.😊

In my opinion, yes. One is just plastic, the other has some aluminium on it. The shell itself is certainly the same. I wouldn't worry about that =)
