The new Auric Cut Backcountry SPIN is designed for riding on and off the slopes. POC's new SPIN technology reduces the energy transferred to the brain during an oblique impact fall. Gel pads on the inside of the helmet perfectly conform to the shape of the head and absorb both linear and rotational forces through their free movement, similar to the natural protective mechanism of cerebrospinal fluid. The Auric Cut Backcountry SPIN features soft ear pads, a lightweight size adjustment system, and adjustable ventilation inspired by the Fornix. The EPP material used on the inside of the helmet is multi-impact capable, making the helmet extremely safe and durable in conjunction with SPIN and the ABS outer shell. The integrated Recco reflector facilitates location in the terrain. Additionally, the Auric Cut Backcountry SPIN is compatible with the optional POC Aid Communication Headset.
