Altitude measurement using a barometer is no longer included. Do I understand correctly that the differences in altitude when jogging in nature are not measured or is this analysed/tracked using GPS? It seems to me to be more of a step backwards from the Vivoactive4 to the 5. In any case, the better display technology is not really a reason to switch. :-/

Helpful answer
The altitude is still available in the activity statistics based on the GPS data. The minimum and maximum altitude are shown as well as the total ascent and descent in metres.
My experiences compared to my predecessor are an expansion of the activity and health measurements and easier handling.
