WLAN only? The description says 'WLAN only'. What does that mean? Can it not be synchronised via Bluetooth and mobile? If not, how do you do it on holiday, for example?

Yes, Bluetooth between smartphone/watch works. In the details under 'Connectivity' you can see that 'Wi-Fi only' refers to the mobile phone standard:

Connectivity: Bluetooth, WLAN
Mobile radio standard: WLAN only
